The Rotary Club of Airlie Beach was established on the 1st May 1981 with 27 members. The Club¹s major fundraising activities include the Community Raffle and the MyWhitsunday Phone Guide.

Nationwide appeal raises over $700K from the public

Young Kurt Drysdale's deserving story was shared with the Australian public on Channel Nine's A Current Affair on June 1 and within the week, through the use of a Rotary Australia Benevolent Society tax deductible account established by the Rotary Club of Southbank, Vic, raised over $700,000.

Community Raffle
This raffle is all about the Community, if you are a sporting group, non profit group and fall into these types of categories this is your opportunity to raise as much money as you can without any outlay. The Rotary Club of Airlie Beach provides the posters, tickets, advertising, and most importantly the prizes, all you have to do is sell as many as you can. 90 % of all ticket sales are returned to your club or organisation as soon as the raffle is drawn.
